I just talked to a trusted source in Woodbury who was trying to go to caucuses but couldn't even get close to the building because of traffic jams. Police had to be on hand directing traffic and even blocked the entrances to the parking lot. Voters were actually running down the streets and into the building. People were leaving their cars on both sides of Interstate 94 and walking a mile to get to caucuses. This certainly holds true to the predictions. mnPACT! said today that the DFL party was not going to ready for the people headed their way.
The Secretary of State Mark Ritchie said web hits on its caucus finder page had already surpassed expectations at 100,000 and he expected 125,000 hits by the end of the day--that's double the initial prediction. And they even underestimated that, the report just arrived that as of 7:00pm hits reached 150,000. Wow! It should be a fun and interesting night...
