Tom Rukavina wins the award for the best press release in the race for governor thus far. At our Capitol offices this morning breakfast cereal boxes arrived kicking off Rukavina's "healthy, homegrown" precinct caucus effort. One box reads "Refreshingly Honest! Minnesota Grown" and includes his campaign platform of a balanced budget, healthcare for all, pre-k-college education, job creation and environmental protection. The other box takes aim at the "Croatian Sensation's" favorite target: Governor Tim Pawlenty. It says "Sugar Coated Pawlenty Flakes." The Democrats aren't actually running against Pawlenty since he isn't running for president, but many still like making him the target.
