Lawyer, Commentator, and Former Minnesota Senator
Former DFL Senate Assistant Majority Leader, Reichgott Junge stepped down from the Minnesota Senate in 2000 after 18 years of service, where she championed the prevention of family violence as well as education, childrens' issues and ethics. She was past president of the Minnesota Women's Political Caucus and radio host of "Women on the Move" before running for Fifth District Congress in 2006. Today she serves as general counsel to small businesses and nonprofit organizations through The General Counsel, Ltd. She is a broadcast commentator, writer, board member of Citizens Independent Bank in St. Louis Park, and board member of Greater Twin Cities United Way.
