Fritz Knaak
Lawyer and Former Minnesota Senator

Knaak is a 'cradle Minnesotan': born in Rochester, he grew up in suburban White Bear Lake with deep family ties to central Minnesota and the Iron Range. He spent 10 years in the Minnesota Senate representing part of the northeast suburbs. He served as Republican Floor Leader and was endorsed by such diverse groups as the Sierra Club, the League of Conservation Voters, small business groups, teacher unions, and the MCCL. The father of five teenagers, Knaak remains very engaged and active in Republican politics.
