Submit a SciGirls web video!
SciGirls is looking for web video from girls and girl-serving groups to feature on its series website!
Girls
Please send us a DVD telling us why you love science, math, engineering or technology, AND show us a project you're currently working on or have worked on recently. We want to see REAL girls doing REAL science. Be sure to include your contact information and a signature from your parents on this release form, saying it's OK for us to use your video. Also remember to protect your privacy. Do not to say your last name or other information that you wouldn't want published on the Internet. It's fine to say your hometown, state, and the name of your group, but otherwise keep personal details to a minimum... and HAVE FUN!
Girl Groups
If your group is currently working on (or has worked on) an interesting project, please send us a DVD telling us about it. If possible, please include video of your group or organization in action. Be sure to include why your girls love science, math, engineering or technology. Please include a permissions form for each person in the video. Minor Release (to be signed by parents/guardians) | Adult Release (for group leaders, etc.). For safety reasons, please don't have kids say their last names or other identifying information in the video.
Submission Details
Video submissions will be considered for the SciGirls website, which will be hosted as part of pbskids.org, one of the top destinations for kids online.
Mail your DVD and letter to:

If you don't have access to a video camera, we will accept a letter and photos, but a video submission is preferred. Any questions or concerns should be directed to Lauren Dittmer at ldittmer@tpt.org. THANK YOU for your interest in SciGirls and we look forward to hearing back from you!
SciGirls is looking for girls who are enthusiastic, inquisitive, articulate, and interested in science. Acting experience is not necessary or expected. This is not a paid opportunity but an educationally enriching experience.
