Siblings Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert (Sara Botsford and Martin Sheen) are in for a surprise when Anne Shirley (Ella Ballentine) arrives at Green Gables. Marilla was expecting a boy to help around the farm, which Anne is most surely not. Matthew does his best to be the voice of reason and Marilla grudgingly accepts her new farmhand.
