A blue whale was spotted and brought to viewers live for the first time in history.

On the Sunday, Aug. 30th episode Big Blue Live, UK viewers were treated to the largest animal on Earth, the blue whale, when it was spotted via helicopter and tracked live for the first time in history. Big Blue Live premieres on PBS Monday, August 31.
