Twin Cities PBS and Rochester’s KSMQ Public Television are proud to host Ken Burns at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester for an advance screening of his newest documentary, The Mayo Clinic: Faith – Hope – Science. Featuring the voices of Tom Hanks, Tom Waterston, Blythe Danner and Josh Lucas, the two-hour documentary explores the clinic’s 150-year history and what it means to “put the needs of the patient first.”
The premiere will be held at 7 pm in the Taylor Arena at the Mayo Civic Center. Following the screening of the film, a panel discussion will be held featuring executive producer Ken Burns as well as co-directors Erik and Christopher Loren Ewers and John Noseworthy, M.D., president and CEO of Mayo Clinic.
Public tickets for the event will be made available starting Monday, August 27 at the Mayo Civic Center Box Office. Tickets are free of charge, with a limit of two per person. The Box Office is open Monday – Friday, 10 am to 5:30 pm; Saturday 10 am to 2 pm and is closed on Sundays.
Please note that tickets are only available in person at the Mayo Civic Center Box Office in Rochester.
