About Indian Women: Strength and Resilience

With strong voices, focused energy and community partnerships, the American Indian community is raising awareness of the issues of abuse and human trafficking taking place in Minnesota. It is time to stop letting women “fall through the cracks” of the legal system and community support. The half hour program presents best practices found in Minnesota’s nationally regarded Indian Women’s Resource Center including integrated, holistic approaches to identifying the issues, working on solutions and supporting healing for those harmed. And there is much to value in American Indian culture itself as a source of strength and resilience for the women most affected. Watch, learn, care and discover what we all can do if we come together as a larger community. Co-production with Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center.
