Americana multi-instrumentalist Barbara Jean spent a winter in Duluth recording her first debut full-length album, The Great Escape. A classically trained viola and violinist, she comes from a long linage of female musicians. She has shared the stage with the likes of Trampled By Turtles, Low and The Pines, as well as winning the Big Top Chautauqua songwriting competition and a spot on NPR's Mountain Stage radio show.
