Joe Horse Capture is the Associate Curator of Native American Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. Joe tells us the story behind one of the tee-pee liners in the MIA's recent exhibition, From Our Ancestors: Art of the White Clay People. He traveled all over Europe and the United States to find the objects and their stories for this show.

Joe Horse Capture is the Associate Curator of Native American Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and oversees three galleries worth of objects, paintings, sculpture, and other precious items at the museum. He also belongs to the A'aninin Indian Tribe of Montana, which has less than 5,000 members and is the focus of his latest exhibit, From Our Ancestors: Art of the White Clay People. Joe traveled all over Europe and the United States to find the objects for this show. He shares the story behind one of the tee-pee liners on display with MNO.
