Twin Cities veteran theater actor Charles Numrich and his son, Broadway actor Seth Numrich, share stories of the stage. As artistic director of Creative Theatre Unlimited, and then as a full time actor, Charles instilled in Seth the importance of theater to create community and move audiences. Seth followed in his father's distinguished footsteps, earning roles at the Youth Performance Company, the Children's Theatre Company and the Guthrie before becoming the youngest person ever to get admitted to and graduate from Julliard's Drama program in New York City. In 2011 Seth won acclaim for his performance as the "lead human" in Lincoln Center's production of War Horse. A legacy of storytelling has been passed from father to son and audiences from the Twin Cities and New York are lucky to witness the Numrichs transform into their characters in production after production.
