Write a detailed description of a place you have been. What did you see, hear, smell, taste, and touch? How did you feel being there?

Activity
Paint a realistic picture of the place you wrote about. Then, use some of Melissa Loop’s techniques to alter it. Add something that isn’t there, paint over a section with an unusual color. See if you can evoke a different feeling with your transformation.
