Cecilia Schiller is a woodcarver who specializes in creating automata--interactive wooden sculptures that come to life with the turn of a crank. Her whimsical creations highlight her intricate carvings and knack for engineering complex crank systems. Her most recent work is her largest sculpture to date--a 14-foot high bird habitat. Cecilia created the sculpture as a piece of public art, meant to be experienced and enjoyed by people of all ages.
