Doug Mahnke transforms blank pages into action-packed stories for DC Comics.
At the age of five, Doug Mahnke read his first comic book and decided he wanted to grow up to be a comic book artist. For almost 20 years, Mahnke’s made a living as a “penciler” for DC Comics. Using just a pencil and an eraser, Mahnke transforms blank pages into action-packed stories featuring iconic super heroes. His pencil drawings are then filled in by expert ink and color artists to create the bold, colorful pages of a comic book. He is the current artist behind the Green Lantern, but past work includes Superman, Batman and the entire Justice League of America crew.Minnesota Music in this Segment:Coach Said Not ToDessaBig QuartersSpecial ThanksDC ComicsDark Horse Comics
