Heidi Hoy’s expressive bronze sculptures render women with incredible strength and femininity. Trained at Minnetonka Center for the Arts, the only community foundry in the upper Midwest, and now a member of the faculty there herself, Hoy’s work in a male dominated field distinguishes itself not just in her final product but in her command of the process itself. Her commissioned works include Daughter of My Heart for the Jane Bratten Breast Cancer Center in Minneapolis, Kent Hrbek for the Minnesota Twins, and Winged Lion for St. Mark's Cathedral.
