Italian-trained painter Mark Balma creates a fresco for the Minnetonka Center for the Arts. Toni Pierce-Sands & Uri Sands, founders of TU Dance Center in St. Paul, embrace the connective power of dance. Sculptor Liz Miller's colorful installations demand closer inspection. Making Minnesota music history since the early 1980s, Soul Asylum, with front man Dave Pirner, performs at First Avenue.
