Amie Miller Named Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Twin Cities PBS

St. Paul, MN (April 28, 2022) — Twin Cities PBS (TPT) announces the promotion of Amie Miller to Vice President of Institutional Advancement. Miller has worked in public media for over 20 years and has been with TPT since 2015, serving as Senior Managing Director of Content Development. In this role she has led TPT’s grants team to remarkable success, raising funds for some of our most local and national impactful projects, such as Almanac’s One Greater Minnesota and Racism Unveiled.

As Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Miller will advance integration in content and philanthropy strategy and execution. She will also lead the planning and execution of all restricted and unrestricted fundraising from foundations, corporate philanthropic giving programs, and government agencies, including the State of Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Miller will work closely with TPT’s Chief Content Officer, Content leaders, and Philanthropy team to ensure strategic integration in short- and long-term planning and implementation. In addition, Amie will join the Senior Management Team where she will contribute her expertise in building relationships with community partners and funders.

Of the promotion Sylvia Strobel, TPT President and CEO, stated, “I am thrilled to continue working with Amie in this new role.
