On Monday, January 18, 2016, The General Mills Foundation and The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) presented the 26th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Breakfast. This breakfast celebrates Dr. King’s legacy of service and inspires others to live out his dream of freedom and equality in their community and throughout the world.
This year’s keynote speaker is Deval Patrick, an American politician and civil rights lawyer who served as the 71st Governor of Massachusetts from 2007 to 2015. He is the first African-American to have served as Governor of Massachusetts. He addresses this year’s theme of Civil & Right: Are You Living the Dream?
Special guests Shiloh and Voice of Culture provided musical entertainment during the breakfast.
