Join us for a season of fun at the library all summer long!

Twin Cities PBS (TPT) and Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA) are hosting free and family-friendly events at 18 different libraries throughout the Twin Cities Metro. Join us for fun and educational arts and crafts activities designed for children ages 2-8, though participants of all ages are welcome. Each event will also feature an appearance by a costumed character from the PBS Kids show, Hero Elementary.

We will also be giving away free snacks and other PBS goodies. Take a photo with a character from Hero Elementary and bring home a copy of the PBS Kids Summer Activity Booklet, also available in Spanish, that’s filled with fun ways to learn all summer long.

There is no cost to attend the events. Pre-registration is not required. All events are hosted outdoors at our partner libraries with alternate rain sites indoors. Find all of our events on Facebook.
