The Electric Indian
(Documentary—Cultural)
A documentary from filmmaker Leya Hale, “The Electric Indian” follows Ojibwe hockey legend, Henry Boucha. A stand-out hockey star from Warroad, Minnesota, Boucha impressed on the ice from the 1969 Minnesota High School Hockey Tournament to the 1972 Olympics to the NHL, but an on-ice assault and injury ended his athletic career that unexpectedly led to a journey of healing and cultural reclamation.
Jesse Ventura Shocks the World!

Jesse Ventura is many things, but boring isn’t one of them. Twenty-five years after the pro wrestler shocked the world when elected Governor of Minnesota, it’s high time to explore the people, values and experiences that shaped him. Follow his implausible career path, wild term in office, love of democracy, guns and gay rights, early support of women’s lib and Donald Trump. The phrase “larger than life” is an understatement.
Profe

In Minnesota, the Latine community burgeons amidst a vast opportunity gap. Two charter schools, rooted in decades of struggle, champion equity through decolonized, bilingual education. “Profe” delves into this educational revolution, blending history and contemporary narratives to illuminate its profound impact.

Art + Medicine: Disability, Culture and Creativity

Artists and healthcare clinicians create alternative perspectives on disability, through disability, stories and performances, and redefine what we perceive as normal. Hope in the Struggle: The Josie Johnson Story

Almanac at the Capitol

“Almanac at the Capitol” broadcasts live during the legislative session as bills are passed and deals are made. All the most important lawmakers and decision makers from every corner of the state make regular appearances in live debates, committee highlights and floor action. “Almanac at the Capitol” is hosted by Mary Lahammer.
MinneHistories
(Public Service Announcement)
A series of short-form spots on Minnesota history produced for kids, bringing together children’s and educational programming with local history in bite-sized history broadcasts. These PSAs, produced by the team behind the Emmy award-winning history documentaries featured on “Minnesota Experience,” introduce young viewers and families to diverse people and events from the state’s past.
