
March 14, 2025 (St. Paul, MN) – Twin Cities PBS (TPT) is pleased to welcome two esteemed leaders to its Board of Trustees: Colleen B. Brown and Courtney Nelson Wills. As a cornerstone of TPT’s governance, the Board of Trustees plays a vital role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction, ensuring financial stewardship and fostering meaningful connections with the communities TPT serves.

About the New Trustees:
Colleen B. Brown is an experienced corporate director and seasoned public company CEO. As an independent director, she currently serves on the boards of three diverse and dynamic public companies: True Blue Inc. (TBI), a leading provider of workforce solutions; Big5 Sporting Goods (BGFV), a sporting goods retailer; and Bakkt (BKKT), the crypto exchange company spun out of ICE. She leverages her expertise to advise, oversee and support these organizations’ direction, performance and risk management. She is committed to continuous learning and professional development, as evidenced by her NACD Leadership. Her mission is to contribute to the transformation, long-term success, and sustainability of the companies and communities she serves.
Courtney Nelson Wills is an experienced MedTech executive and strategic legal advisor. In her 15+ years at Medtronic, Courtney has served on leadership teams as chief legal counsel for a number of multi-billion-dollar businesses, and as the lead lawyer supporting Medtronic’s corporate and public company governance, international businesses and its global intellectual property team. Throughout her career, Courtney has developed and executed key legal and regulatory strategies, working cross-functionally to set long-term and annual operating plans, prioritize product innovation and ensure execution. In addition, she has played a critical role in leading the legal organization and broader enterprise through large acquisitions (including the $50 billion acquisition of Covidien by Medtronic), complex intellectual property transactions, regulatory inquiries, significant litigation and reputational management issues.
