The role of pastor may be one of the most overlooked sides of Martin Luther King Jr.

He's known for leading the Civil Rights Movement and for his passionate speeches in support of racial equality. But before he became a global political figure, Martin Luther King Jr. was just a young black pastor in Montgomery, Alabama.
