Almost 2 million people attend the Minnesota State Fair annually, or between 100,000 and 250,000 each day of the Fair.

Write about your experience at a state fair or another large event. How did it feel to be surrounded by so many people? Was it “sensory overload”?

Since 2004, the Minnesota State Fair Foundation has commissioned a local artist to create an annual commemorative poster. In 2015, screen printer Adam Turman created a whimsical and colorful landscape featuring the Fair’s most beloved and iconic landmarks.

Create a poster to advertise an event or activity that you’re involved in. How can you visually represent the event while also providing relevant information and encouraging people to attend?
